How to Wrap Text around a Picture in Microsoft Word

For typesetting purpose, sometimes you may want to wrap text around a picture in Word document, but the images you inserted are usually In Line with Text by default. So, how can you change the settings?

1. First, click the picture you just inserted. You’ll see the icon of Layout Options on the upper right.

(You can right click the picture, then choose Wrap Text in the menu for advanced settings as well.)

2. Click it. There are several templates of text wrapping styles, and the current one is In Line with Text, which shall be your default setting.

3. Choose a style you like and it will be applied to the document immediately.

Or you can choose See more for further settings.
