How To Clear Windows Security Center Protection History

You can think of Windows 10 security center as anti-virus software, because it can always protect computer data security. But it will generate protection history records after running for a period of time. Someone may want to clear this but without any idea. So today the author would like to share with you the method in detail.

Step 1:

Double-click This PC on your desktop or you can just press Windows and E to quickly open it and find Local Disk C.

Step 2:

Click on View at the top and choose the arrow behind Options.

Select View and check the boxes between Files and Folders and Hidden files and folders, then select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”

Step 3:

Type ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History in the address bar and press Enter key.

Now you can delete the all the folders in History.

Step 4:

That’s all the steps, and you can go to Windows Defender &Check History to check the Protection history. There would display No recent action.
